Clarity
Know who you are
Clarity is about what you value.
It's knowing (and acting on)
what's important to you.
When you have clarity you may
notice you can make decisions
without as much stress or worry.
Clarity Activities
The Empower THEM Collective
Identify Your Strengths
Issue:
Focusing on weaknesses can leave us unable to see our strengths.
Goal:
Identify your strengths and learn how to better use them in your daily living
Instructions:
Identify your strength.
Write it down on a Post-It and decorate your Post-It.
Place your Post-It on our poster board.
Together we can discuss how to implement your strengths in your daily living.
Torres Martinez Tribal TANF
Blossom
Issue:
Anxiety Events can cause elevated blood pressure and decrease oxygen to the brain.
Goal:
Decrease the severity and duration of Anxiety Events through controlled breathing
Instructions:
Take a deep breath and hold it for a moment.
Breathe out slowly through the bubble wand, blowing the bubbles.
Pay attention to your exhale and bubbles it creates.
Imagine the bubbles as stressors or anxieties that float away with each breath.
See how we were able to blow away lots of little stress and anxiety bubbles?
Some stresses are bigger than others though, let’s see if we can make one big stress bubble for the bigger stressors or anxieties.
Notice how, with the bigger bubble, we have to take a longer breath in and a longer softer breath out.
LITG
Refresh & Reflect
Issue:
Neglecting physical needs like hydration and breaks can negatively impact mental health.
Goal:
Regular hydration and moments of reflection promote physical wellness while also fostering mindfulness and emotional balance, ultimately supporting overall mental well-being.
Instructions:
Step 1: Take a sip of water and think about how it makes you feel refreshed and replenished.
Step 2: Use a pencil and/or crayon to color the water drop worksheet. Write at the bottom why water is beneficial for your health.
Step 3: Keep your water drop art as a reminder to pause, hydrate, and reflect on what matters most to you. Take it home with you.
Step 4: Sign the "LITG" sign to inspire others to stay hydrated and reflect on life's joys. Let's fill the sign with beautiful names and messages to spread awareness of why "Life Is Too Good" (LITG).
