Next workshop:
Wednesday, April 29, 10-11 a.m.
All for Kids Palmdale Family Resource Center
525 W. Ave P-4, Palmdale, CA 93551
Children do SO MUCH learning and growing from ages 3-5.
That's why we created the Supported Seedlings workshops.
Developed by Laura Fonseca, MT-BC, of Stepping Tones and Monica Olsen, CPSS, of Live Oak Mental Wellness Project, the goal of this series of 10 stand-alone workshops is threefold:
- to use music to support healthy neurodevelopment in preschoolers (and to talk about what that means)
- to teach kids and the grownups who care for them self-regulation and co-regulation skills (and how to develop them in "cool moments" to be ready for use in "hot moments")
- to use our time together to build the relationship between child and caregiver as well as to begin to build kids' skills interacting both with their peers and with other grownups.
There are also lots of mini-goals along the way!

Workshop #2
Wednesday, April 29, 10-11 a.m. at All for Kids Family Resource Center in Palmdale
Music-Supported Impulse Control
In our second stand-alone workshop, we'll be talking about the power of curiosity, what impulses are, how to manage ourselves when it's not time to act on them (AKA "wait"), and how we can create strategies in "cool moments" so they're ready to use in "hot moments" as we sing songs, follow directions, and build our own little Supported Seedlings community.
We are so grateful to our partners at All for Kids for making this program possible!
