Not practicing gratitude can lead to a negative mindset, amplifying feelings of discontent, entitlement, and resentment, hindering emotional well-being and relationships.
Goal:
Gratitude helps maintain balance by shifting focus from what is lacking to what is present, fostering contentment amidst challenges, also promoting resilience and emotional stability.
Instructions:
Part One
Choose a Shared Space Canvas to participant in.
Each canvas represents either the Past, Present, or Future.
Part Two
Choose materials that suit how you would like to artfully express a moment in the time period you have chosen to reflect on.
Writing, drawing and painting materials are available.
Part Three
Visualize these moments, or people through words, colors, shapes or symbols.
Take your time and let your creativity flow freely.
Once you are finished with your creation, spend a moment to reflect on the gratitude you feel towards these experiences or individuals.
For Participants choosing Future, envision future hopes, dreams, aspirations for yourself.
